About Me

A daughter, a wife, a mom, a rare cancer survivor. My story isn’t just about cancer or parenting; it’s about finding light in the darkest moments, embracing life’s imperfections, and cherishing every moment with the people we love.

Gratitude: The Heartbeat of my story

9th November 2023 was a big day of my life. The day our son was born and the day we got to know that I had a rare ovarian tumor. In scary terms ’cancer’, an illness that people usually pray to never experience.
At the hospital, I looked at my husband next to me and at my son in my arms and had a rush of emotions.

worry, sadness, scare, happiness, hope

Worry because he is too small and fragile.
Sadness for the possibility of having less time with them.
Scare for their future without me.
Happiness of holding a miracle in my arms.
Hope for a lifeline.

But a stronger emotion nudged me ‘gratefulness’. I am grateful for everything now and for the future. Yes, this is a tremendous change and challenge, but this is not life.

Life is the bundle of joy in my arms, he looks at me like I am his world.
Life is my friend for life looking at me like no one else exists.
Life is the laughs and trips with my sister.
Life is the unconditional love of parents.
Life is the smiles we share, tears we share, laughs we share, silence we share with our loved ones.

I do not need sympathies and motivational statements. Just a hug, a smile, a silent pat showing your support and love. I am strong and content thanks to your love and support. I say without hesitation that I have « Can »cer.

I can and I will!

I can-cervive (I can survive).
